My husband and I enjoyed every moment. We went on a
treacherous but fun hike to Raven falls. We had wonderful dinners at the many
quaint towns around the lake house.
I have great memories of
coming to Lake Toxaway and surrounding areas since I was a little girl and it
was wonderful to bring my husband and share my love for the mountains. I hope your
experience at my parent's lake house brings as much enjoyment and love of the
beautiful mountains as it has to me.

My
family and I spent 1 week at the Lakefront Mountain Retreat located on Lake
Toxaway. The experience was truly wonderful. The location is great with easy
access to a community dock and boat that we rented with the home. Sitting on
the deck of the home which looks out onto to Lake Toxaway was fantastic. We
spent a lot of time on the boat tubing with the kids and taking slow cruises
before dark. The house was located near some great hiking trails, a horse farm
where we went riding, a great camp where we enjoyed zip lining and golf courses
where we played golf (including the Lake Toxaway Country Club). The home is
also very conveniently located near a couple of great restaurants including the
Brown Trout where we had a wonderful dinner. All in all my family and I had a
fantastic time and highly recommend the home for anyone who loves the mountains
and lake.

This
place has it all -- beautiful view, well-maintained fireplace, comfortable
beds, pontoon boat, hiking trails, and great restaurants and shopping nearby.
We've rented this lovely home twice and recommend it highly. The area is easily
accessible, with a nice place to park and no cliffs to accidently drive over.
There are several breath-taking waterfalls and parks a short drive from the
house. This home will definitely remain on our short-list of places to return
to time and time again.

Wonderful
home for four couples. Beautiful view and access to lake. Location was
excellent for all of the areas activities. We were pleased that we could go
right to the dock and put in the canoe and kayaks. Had an outstanding long
weekend with a superb meal at Madisons in the Old Edwards Inn in Highlands.

One Week Vacation November 2007
Thank you so much for kindly sharing
your Toxaway home and boat with us. It was a precious time with my
elderly parents, my brother and sister-in-law and our Louisville crew. It
was their first time meeting their great granddaughter. We all really
enjoyed the beauty of nature there. The slow boat rides were just enough
diversion. The weather was perfect. Thank you again!
One Week Vacation in July 2006
Your home on Lake Toxaway is
great. My entire family enjoyed every minute of the week. It
definitely made my parents 50th Wedding Annversary one to remember. We
even talked about making it an annual event. Thank you for letting my
family enjoy your home. We can't wait to come back!
Two weeks Vacation in the Fall 2002
Two great weeks! The leaves put an
incredible show for us. We hiked, shopped, rode the parkway, went to crafts
show in Asheville, watched Alabama beat Tennessee and had a great boat trip on
Lake Toxaway. Your neighbor Joe was wonderful. He blew the leaves from our
driveway and took us on a boat trip. We had a week with relatives from
California and a week alone. You home was perfect for a crowd or a couple.
You've done a great job of elevating a "rental" to a home. Thanks for
a well equipped kitchen. We had enjoyable meals with several cooks amongst us.
Yes, we had everything we needed! My husband appreciated your comfortable
mattresses and your never ending water heater. You have a wonderful home which
exhibits a lot tender loving care. Thanks for sharing it.
One Week Vacation Summer 2002
Where Heaven touches the earth there
surely is Lake Toxaway! Rented a canoe and explored every drop of the lake. My
boys, 3 year old twins, loved to fish off the dock and from the canoe (and
sometimes from the dock). My wife soaked in the relaxed atmosphere and forgot
the world for awhile. As for me, myself and I, Is this place for sale? Ha! Ha!
One Week Vacation Summer 2002

Family 50th Wedding Anniversary
August 2001
We had a wonderful time! We could
have spent two weeks. Everything was wonderful -- boating, hiking, white water
rafting, golfing, horseback riding -- jee, did I miss anything? The afternoon 2
P.M. thunderstorm gave us a nice siesta also.
One Week Vacation Spring 2001
What a wonderful place to have a
family vacation! Our three groups from Michigan, Indiana and South Carolina met
for a relaxing week of family fun. The cooler weather didn't stop us from
hiking to several spectacular water falls. We also enjoyed fishing down on the
dock. What a restful place to be.
Family from England September 2000
First time in the USA and what a
beautiful place to start! House is very comfortable and has the most wonderful
views of Lake Toxaway. The weather has been fantastic. We would've wished for
better. The people have been extremely friendly. A perfect start to a perfect
holiday.
Long Weekend Fall 2000
Your home was so comfortable. This
is truly God's country. The trees, the lake, pretty flowers makes you think of
the Garden of Eden. The house was so nice and clean. Wish we could stay longer.
We had such fun getting together here.
